Job summary

NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Department of Psychology, invites applications for up to two PhD research fellow positions within the PhD programme in Social Sciences. The PhD candidates will pursue doctoral education while conducting research, publishing, and presenting internationally.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree with a substantial thesis, demonstrate outstanding academic credentials, and possess strong English skills plus Norwegian/B2 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with independent project (≥30 ECTS)
• Average grade from Master's degree is B or better on NTNU scale
• Strong oral and written English skills
• Good knowledge of scientific methodology
• Experience with scientific communication
• Quality of the project proposal will be considered in assessment
• Norwegian/Scandinavian language skills at B2 level or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Complete the doctoral education until obtaining a doctorate
• Carry out high-quality research within the described framework
• Publish academically and disseminate scientific knowledge
