Job summary

MaineHealth's Stephens Hospital in Norway, Maine, is seeking a Per Diem, day shift Pediatric Registered Nurse to join the ambulatory care team providing family-centered care for infants through adolescence.

You will assess patients, administer medications and vaccines, assist with procedures, educate families, coordinate care, and support preventive and chronic care in an outpatient setting. This role offers professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of recent RN experience required; onboarding requirements including New Grad Residency where available.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments for pediatric patients and adolescents.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Assist with pediatric procedures and post-procedure care.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate care across the team.
• Support families navigating routine care and acute/chronic conditions in ambulatory settings.
