Hillsboro Medical Center's Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver quality care to acutely ill patients in a 15-bed unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio. Relocation assistance is available up to $15,000 and the pay range is $49.34/hr - $74.08/hr, reflecting a supportive and collaborative team environment with open leadership and personalized orientation.

Qualifications

• ADN degree required to practice as a nurse in this unit.
• Active RN license in the State of Oregon.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in acute care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team using effective communication and conflict management.
• Apply systematic assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in care delivery with patient and family.
• Adapt care to changes in patient status and communicate needs to physician and team as needed.
• Provide compassionate care during challenging periods with respect and dignity.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

RN license – Oregon
