Job summary

DOF in Bergen, Norway is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join the HR team. You will manage a broad scope of payroll tasks, ensure membership in social security systems, and help improve routines and guidelines.

You will work in a collaborative environment with a focus on accuracy, deadlines, and service-minded delivery; English and Norwegian communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business administration and/or economics.
• 3-5 years professional payroll and tax experience, offshore payroll preferred.
• Payroll software skills: OCS HR, Unit4 UBW.
• Experience with collective agreements preferred.
• Strong English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
• Analytical, structured, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Service minded, enthusiastic and solution oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll tasks and follow up on social security memberships.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Contribute to improving routines and guidelines within the payroll function.

Job description

Join us as our new Payroll Coordinator

We are looking for another member to join our HR Team: a working environment consisting of highly educated, skilled, positive, innovative, and enthusiastic employees. Here you will have a broad scope of payroll tasks, follow up on membership in social security systems, and be part of a team that continuously works to improve routines and guidelines.

This position is a one-year temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business administration and/or economics. Experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• 3-5 years professional experience in payroll and tax matters, preferably in offshore related payroll
• System skilles in Payroll (OCS HR, Unit 4 UBW preferred)
• Experience working with collective agreements is preferred
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment where we share our success
• You are analytical and structured
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English and Norwegian
• Ability to effectively prioritize and deliver within deadlines
• Highly service minded, enthusiastic and solution oriented
