Job summary

ForceShield, Inc. in Os is seeking an Information Security Analyst for a part-time role. You will help protect our information systems and data, conducting vulnerability assessments and monitoring security events to detect threats.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, 2+ years in information security, strong knowledge of networks, OS, firewalls, and IDS/IPS, and experience with Nessus or Metasploit. AWS/Azure experience and certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in information security role.
• Strong knowledge of networks, operating systems, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with phishing, malware, ransomware.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Metasploit.
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM or CEH) preferred.
• Experience with AWS or Azure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify threats.
• Develop and implement security protocols to protect networks, systems, and data.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs to detect suspicious activity.
• Investigate security incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with security trends and best practices.
