Job summary

ShieldPro Protection in Alta is seeking an Information Security Analyst to protect our data and systems. Based in our Alta office, you will monitor security, assess risks, and respond to incidents to prevent cyber threats.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, 2+ years in information security, knowledge of Windows/Linux, and experience with Nmap or Nessus. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Nmap, Nessus).
• Understanding of risk management principles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security breaches.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Implement security measures, such as firewalls and encryption, to protect company data.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies.
• Train employees on security awareness.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper configuration of systems.
