Wall Police Dept. is seeking a School Crossing Guard to assist with student safety during school hours. Training provided to successful applicants. Guards report for duty 2–4 hours daily, Monday through Friday, and must be able to stand for the full shift.
The role requires alertness and agility to observe and react to driver movements, with a basic mobility, vision, blood pressure and hearing screening as part of the selection process. Shifts are limited to 28 hours per week.
This is to advise that an opening exists in the aforementioned position. Proper training will be provided to the successful applicants. The School Crossing Guards shall report for duty at the time specified, typically 2-4 hours a day, Monday – Friday. A guard must be capable of standing for the entire shift. Observing and reacting to driver movements requires alertness and agility. A basic examination for prospective crossing guards will be conducted to check mobility, blood pressure, vision, and hearing.

The School Crossing Guard will be required to work no more than twenty (28) hours during a seven (7) day work period. The successful applicant will be required to work shifts during school hours.

Salary Range $16.25 to $19.00 per hour
