Job summary

The City of Daleville is seeking a detail-oriented staff member to support code compliance, building permit and zoning activities across the municipal administration.

Under general supervision, you will review ordinances, codes, zoning regulations, land-use requirements, nuisance and housing standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations, and assist residents, property owners and businesses with compliant decisions.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties in support of the city's code compliance, building permit, and zoning programs.
• Reviews and administers ordinances, codes, zoning regulations, land-use requirements, nuisance and housing standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of City regulations in order to assist property owners, residents, businesses, the general public, and other City divisions.

Job description

Pay: $14.00 hourly

Monday-Friday; 8 am-noon and 1 pm - 4 pm
