Qualifications

• Current Utah paramedic license.
• Must maintain required ongoing training.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to perform procedures under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Monitors vital signs and records data per protocol.
• Assists physicians and licensed staff during procedures.
• Responds to Rapid Response calls as assigned.
• Provides in-patient IV services as required.
• Trains and assists new staff.
• Performs daily equipment checklists and stocks department.
• May perform phlebotomy after training.
