Job description

Job Title: Package Responsible Engineer – Automation

Job Location: Bergen, Norway

Contract Type: Contracting position, 12 Month Renewable Contract.

About the Role:

• Lead the preparation and implementation of control system projects from concept phase to completion

• Participate in tender processes, define scope (Scope of Work) and prepare estimates for time, cost and resources

• Technical project management, including coordination of interdisciplinary teams and follow-up of project deliveries

• Ensure that the projects are delivered in accordance with the customer's requirements for quality, time frames and security

• Report progress, costs and any deviations to the project manager

About You:

• Participation in interdisciplinary project teams and coordination of technical activities

• Experience with HAZOP, design reviews and technical documentation

• Preparation of work descriptions, technical specifications and project plans

• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken

• Engineering education at bachelor's or master's level, preferably in automation, control systems, electronics or relevant subject areas

• Experience in technical project management or engineering related to control systems, preferably from the oil and gas industry

• Solid technical understanding of control systems and their application in industrial projects

• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as PSA/PTIL, NORSOK, DNV, etc.
