Job description

Overview

STACK is currently seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure Manager to join our team supporting hyperscale customers across our data center portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and manage advanced OT and network solutions that support the scale, complexity, and security requirements of modern hyperscale data centers. From Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) to industrial protocols and integrated networks, you’ll be responsible for creating solutions that are reliable, scalable, and secure.

You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and operations teams to deliver seamless, high-performance systems – while also driving continuous innovation and improvement across our OT architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and design end-to-end OT and network solutions
• Lead implementation and integration of critical infrastructure systems (BMS, EPMS, SCADA, etc.)
• Design secure, scalable OT network architectures (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO, SOC2, PCI-DSS)
• Oversee risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for OT implementations
• Develop technical documentation and provide expert guidance to project teams
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously enhance STACK’s OT capabilities

Skills and background

• Proven experience in OT and network system design and deployment, ideally in data centers or similarly demanding environments
• Deep knowledge of industrial systems and protocols: BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, Modbus, BACnet, OPC-UA, Profibus, etc.
• Strong skills in network design and security (Layer 2 isolation, dynamic routing, wireless networking)
• Strategic thinker with strong technical leadership and project management capabilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with compliance and cybersecurity standards related to OT
