Job summary

Human Rights Foundation in Oslo seeks an experienced Norway Producer to support planning and execution of the 2027 Oslo Freedom Forum. The role will oversee on-ground transportation, wayfinding, event staffing and volunteers, local partnerships, and other logistical elements critical to delivering a seamless experience for speakers, guests, partners, and staff.

The ideal candidate has significant experience producing complex events, strong knowledge of Oslo and its venues, and excellent judgment

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in event production, operations, hospitality, or related field.
• Experience planning and executing complex, multi-venue events with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Oslo and local event resources.
• Experience coordinating vendors, staff, volunteers, and external partners.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-ground transportation, wayfinding, staffing, and volunteers.
• Coordinate with external production partners, venues, vendors and stakeholders.
• Develop staffing schedules, roles, and volunteer training materials.
• Troubleshoot operational issues before and during the Forum to ensure smooth execution.
