Qualifications
- 1-4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in STEM, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, or similar languages.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the BID3 power market model, focusing on hydro power modelling, optimization, and software development.
- Work on one of Europe's leading power market models and interact with energy companies, TSOs and policymakers.
- Collaborate with AFRY's BID3 Models team in Oslo to advance hydro modelling capabilities and optimization.
- Combine software development, quantitative modelling and consulting work across an international network.
