Job summary

Odfjell Technology Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager TRS to lead daily TRS operations in Norway and Africa, overseeing onshore and offshore teams with a strong focus on safety, quality and customer delivery.

The role requires solid TRS and drilling-related service insight, leadership experience, and commercial awareness to optimise resources, support tenders and sustain high performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in rig/service operations, TRS, or related offshore drilling delivery.
• Strong knowledge of TRS equipment, offshore service delivery and operational risk management.
• Experience leading onshore and offshore teams with customer and contracts focus.
• Excellent written and verbal English; able to communicate across stakeholders.

Operations Manager TRS

Are you an experienced operations leader with strong technical insight, commercial understanding and a passion for safe and efficient offshore service delivery?

We are looking for an Operations Manager TRS to lead and further develop our tubular running services operations in Norway and Africa. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery across both onshore and offshore operations, combining operational execution, people development, customer focus and commercial performance. The position is part of the regional leadership team and reports to the SVP Well Services.

About The Role

As Operations Manager TRS, you will lead daily operations, drive performance and ensure delivery in line with customer expectations, company requirements and QHSE standards. You will provide direction and support to onshore and offshore teams, with a strong focus on competence, collaboration, continuous improvement and a robust safety and quality culture.

The role is well suited for a leader who combines technical understanding with commercial awareness and delivers results through people.

Key responsibilities

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Lead onshore and offshore TRS operations in Norway and Africa
• Develop, support and motivate the operational delivery team
• Ensure safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery in line with QHSE and customer requirements
• Optimise equipment stock, utilisation and operational resources
• Support tenders, customer proposals and commercial opportunities
• Follow up relevant agreements and contracts with customers and suppliers
• Monitor cost, progress, performance and operational deviations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the further development of TRS operations

Qualifications And Experience

We are looking for a candidate with solid operational experience and a strong understanding of TRS, drilling-related services and offshore service delivery.

Relevant Qualifications May Include

• Relevant higher education, preferably at MSc level, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years’ experience from rig/service operations, TRS, loose drilling equipment or similar
• Strong knowledge of drilling-related equipment, operational requirements and offshore service delivery
• Previous leadership experience, preferably from an operational or offshore-related environment
• Experience with customer follow-up, contracts, tenders or commercial processes is an advantage
• Good understanding of QHSE requirements and operational risk management
• Strong written and verbal English skills
