Job summary

UiS School of Business and Law at the University of Stavanger invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Quantitative Marketing, with an anticipated start in Fall 2027. The appointment may be made at Associate Professor (tenure track), Associate Professor, or Professor, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in Marketing or equivalent required by Aug 1 2027 for tenure-track.
• For Associate Professor tenure track, PhD must be awarded or expected by that date.
• Emerging publication record for Associate Professor (tenure track) with publications in leading journals.
• Established record for Associate Professor with high-quality publications.
• Professor level requires substantial sustained high-quality publications and leadership.
• Ability and motivation to teach and supervise at bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
• Fluency in English and commitment to inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop or advance a research program in quantitative marketing.
• Teach and supervise bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students.
• Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in the School’s research seminars and academic community.
