Job description

We are hiring freelance English and Norwegian speaking Online Data Analysts for a project aimed at improving the content and quality of digital maps, used by millions globally. The role suits someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys research, and has good knowledge of national and local geography.

This is a freelance position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to work at your own convenience when tasks are available. Your responsibilities include conducting research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment, such as verifying and comparing data, and assessing the relevance and accuracy of information. Guidelines will be provided for each task.

Requirements

  • Full Professional Proficiency in English and Norwegian
  • Residency in Norway for the past 2 consecutive years
  • Ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research using search engines, online maps, and websites
  • Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in Norway
  • Openness to work across diverse task types (e.g., Maps, News, Audio, Relevance)
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older

Participation involves a standard recruitment process, including an open-book assessment. This is a long-term project with periodic quality checks.
