Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Rasta, Norway is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure in our world-class facilities. This full-time, on-site role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining server and network gear.

You will handle structured cabling, monitor power and cooling, and contribute to capacity planning while following ITIL-inspired processes. Candidates should have 3+ years of data center experience and be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience
• Experience with rack and stack operations
• Knowledge of ITIL practices preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments
• Data center certifications preferred (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE)
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA) preferred
• DCIM platforms preferred
• Knowledge of ITIL practices preferred
