Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Rennesøy, Norway is seeking a Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role supporting critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, manage deployments and decommissions, and monitor power, cooling, and security while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center operations
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber)
• Experience with rack and stack operations
• Familiarity with UPS and power distribution systems

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
