Job summary

NOV Downhole Broadband Solutions in Stavanger seeks a Technical Training Specialist to design, deliver and continuously improve technical training for employees and external stakeholders. You will translate complex oilfield knowledge into practical learning, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accurate content and effective knowledge transfer.

With a background in engineering and field experience, you will develop curricula, coordinate training programs, and support competency

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field.
• Experience in delivering technical training within oil and gas is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical training materials and curricula.
• Deliver training programs for internal employees and external customers.
• Coordinate knowledge sharing across functions and assess training impact.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements to training programs.
• Collect product feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate competency assessment processes and maintain documentation.
• Support new training initiatives and development activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with operational needs.
