Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS is seeking an experienced MC/COMM engineer to perform mechanical completion/commissioning activities on offshore installations from October 2026. You will apply DCP knowledge and ensure adherence to procedures, with availability for occasional offshore trips.

The role requires a trade certificate in electrical, automation, or telecom, or a technical college diploma/bachelor. A minimum of five years in MC/COMM within VEM is expected; offshore and health/safety certificates are

Qualifications

Trade certificate in electrical, automation, or telecom fields; a technical college diploma or bachelor's degree is acceptable.
Minimum 5 years of MC/COMM engineering experience within the VEM segment.
Extensive experience can compensate for lower education.
ProCoSys and PIMS365 software proficiency.
Familiarity with established project work processes.
Valid FSE course (High and Low Voltage with First Aid).
Completed basic EX course.
Offshore certificate and health certificate are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform Mechanical Completion/Commissioning (MC/COMM) engineering for studies and projects on offshore installations.
Utilize knowledge of Discipline Check Prints (DCP) and associated procedures.
Be available for occasional offshore trips as required.
