Job summary

IKM in Hammerfest seeks a Mechanical Completion field engineer to perform MC field engineering tasks, follow up on installations and project activities, and conduct punch-out rounds with handover to the client.

Bring 3–5 years of MC experience, proficiency in Procosys and Pims365, and knowledge of MC processes. Valid safety certificates are required. The role is on-site with a 14/21 rotation, October 2026 to October 2028, offering exposure to major operators and challenging delivery milestones.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or higher in Electrical, Automation, or Telecom.
• 3–5 years in a similar MC/field engineering role.
• Valid certificates: Basic EX, FSE, AT/SJA, Fall Protection.

Required expertise

• -Trade certificate, technical college diploma, or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Telecom disciplines. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
• -Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• -Proficiency in Procosys and Pims365 systems.
• -Strong knowledge of MC processes and completion projects.
• -Familiarity with the work processes of major operators is highly advantageous.
• -Previous lead experience is desirable.
• -Must hold valid certificates for: Basic EX, FSE (High/Low Voltage with First Aid), AT/SJA, and Fall Protection.
