Job summary

DNV invites applications for a summer student position in the Offshore Equipment, Mooring and Diving area. You will assist in reviewing mechanical components for offshore applications and participate in project tasks, with exposure to calculations used for verification and certification of components.

We seek 3rd/4th year Bachelor or Master students in Naval Architecture or Computer Science/Information Science, with a proactive mindset, good English, and an interest in learning FEA and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year Bachelor/Master student in relevant field.
• Willingness to learn FEA and AI concepts.
• Strong English communication; Norwegian is a plus.
• Good digital skills and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analysis techniques related to mechanical/marine component interactions.
• Develop tools in collaboration with peers and DNV staff.
• Support engineers with daily tasks and verification calculations.
