Job summary

MDE Bergen is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform engineering studies and project execution for drilling facilities on fixed offshore platforms, aboard the Norwegian Continental Shelf. You will contribute to CTR activities, coordinate with rig crews, and ensure deliveries within budgets and timelines.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant offshore experience, and are familiar with NORSOK, ATEX, IEC standards and software like AutoCAD, Febdok,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with modification projects on fixed drilling installations on the NCS.
• Familiarity with NORSOK, ATEX, IEC standards and related software.
• Offshore safety training and medical certificate required.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to CTR activities and tender processes related to installation and projects.
• Perform electrical engineering studies and project execution for drilling facilities on fixed offshore platforms.
• Carry out electrical field and hook-up engineering.
• Prepare and follow up work packages.
• Coordinate with rig crews, suppliers, and installations to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Report costs and progress to Technical Lead or Project Manager.
