Job summary

Soben (Part of Accenture) in Norway seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects, including data centres, from inception to completion. You will guide project teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

The role requires 8–10 years of project management experience in construction/infrastructure, strong knowledge of PM methodologies, and excellent client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional accreditation preferred (MRICS/MAPM) or working towards chartership.
• 8–10 years’ experience in project management within construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Experience delivering data centre or large-scale complex projects is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; Norwegian language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice at project inception, supporting clients in defining project approach and delivery strategy.
• Establish and manage overall project success criteria, including time, cost, quality, and performance objectives.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with scope and delivery requirements.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective collaboration across all functions.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, processes, and reporting structures.
• Monitor project progress and performance, applying KPI-driven performance management techniques.
• Manage project budgets and financial performance, providing regular reporting and forecasting.
• Oversee procurement strategies and resource planning to support project delivery.
• Lead and manage the change control process, ensuring all changes are documented and controlled.
• Ensure effective communication between project stakeholders through meetings, reports, and formal updates.
• Prepare and review project progress reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for senior stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary interface across all project stages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as required in support of project delivery.
