Job summary

First Mile in London is seeking an Operations Support Executive to ensure rounds run smoothly and customer service remains high during night shifts. You will be the first point of contact for drivers and cyclists, providing on-the-spot guidance and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities include flagging vehicle issues to the transport team, maintaining accurate databases, and preparing daily handover documents for the morning team.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for drivers and cyclists by phone overnight.
• Provide on-the-spot advice to drivers on customer issues.
• Identify frequent customer-site issues and propose fixes.
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and flag issues to the transport team.
• Monitor driver and cyclist performance and escalate where needed.
• Communicate updates and instructions to drivers for their rounds.
• Keep operations databases accurate and up to date.
• Prepare effective daily handover documents for the AM team.
• Monitor customer service levels for the Hoxton depot.
• Arrange agency workers and weekend security coverage
