PTGR AG in Ethiopia seeks a skilled Motion Designer to translate scripts and concepts into engaging motion graphics for educational content, marketing campaigns and digital platforms. You will craft visuals that reinforce PTGR’s brand storytelling and visual identity.

Work in a full‑time, onsite role in Addis Ababa, collaborating with writers, marketers and product teams. A strong portfolio in 2D/3D animation and proficiency with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and Blender

Competenze

Proven experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or similar role.
Proficiency in motion design software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender).
Solid understanding of 2D and 3D animation principles, timing, transitions, and visual rhythm.
Experience with kinetic typography and animated text.
Portfolio demonstrating motion design and animated storytelling.

The Motion Designer creates animated content that drives brand storytelling and engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative flow, and can independently translate scripts and concepts into polished, high‑quality motion visuals that reinforce PTGR’s visual identity across digital and video channels.

About The Role

Requirements

Proven experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or similar role
Strong ability to interpret scripts and translate ideas into compelling visual narratives
Proficiency in motion design software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender)
Solid understanding of 2D and 3D animation principles, timing, transitions, and visual rhythm
Experience with kinetic typography and animated text
High attention to detail and storytelling clarity
Ability to work independently from concept to final delivery
Portfolio demonstrating motion design and animated storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

Experience producing educational or explainer videos
Familiarity with 2D and 3D animation workflows, sound design, and basic video editing
Experience creating content for tech, education, Web3, or innovation-driven projects
Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, engaging animations
