Job summary

Naimar in Oslo Metro Area is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering vertical and drive technical efficiency, operational stability, and continuous development of engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic engineering leader with team management experience, capable of delivering complex industrial projects and aligning technical expertise with operational performance.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Electrical or related).
Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
At least 3 years of engineering team leadership.
Experience delivering CAPEX projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management.
Lean / TPM / Six Sigma knowledge; English – B2

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate engineering activities in production.
Ensure technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
Lead engineering projects (modernization, new line launches, CAPEX initiatives).
Cooperate with contractors and equipment suppliers.
Analyze production losses, downtime, and defects; implement optimization and automation solutions.
Build and develop the engineering team (KPIs, feedback, performance management).
Ensure compliance with technical, industrial, and safety standards.
