Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a Mechanical PRE with a strong background in offshore projects to join our multidisciplinary team in Stavanger. You will prepare BCMs, coordinate with package buyers and MC engineers, create and manage documentation distribution matrices, and ensure timely delivery of final project documentation while complying with applicable standards and contract requirements.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in mechanical engineering and 7–12 years of offshore

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform BCM and kick-off meetings as required.
• Create and follow up the package distribution matrix for supplier documentation.
• Take responsibility for follow-up work for the procurement package.
• Ensure Final Documentation for the scope of work is delivered on time per contract and procedures.

Job Description

• Prepare and perform bid clarification meeting (BCM) and kick off meeting if necessary.
• Create package follow up together with package buyer and MC engineer.
• Create and follow up package distribution matrix for supplier documentation and send the matrix to Document Control.
• Take responsibility forfollow-up work for the procurement package.
• Follow up and make sure Final Documentation for the scope of work is delivered at agreed date.
• Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed according to relevant instructions / procedures and in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
• Long experience, 7 to 12 years, within offshore related projects

Personal Traits

• Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, chemical injection skids, and other multidisciplinary packaged systems.
• Strong understanding of static equipment, including design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of applicable industry standards, regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments and collaborate with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across disciplines and organizational levels.
• Ability to contribute proactively to technical discussions, problem-solving activities, and project execution to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality deliverables.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on cooperation, knowledge sharing, and achieving common project goals.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
