Join our team and make a difference

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will complete mechanical design and engineering, prototyping and qualification, as well as commercialization activities.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to develop new technology as part of our engineering group.
  • Managing project work related to the development of robotic equipment for use in oilwells, including:
    1. Requirements definition
    2. Identification of the best conceptual solution to address the requirements
    3. 3D modelling
    4. Drafting (2D drawings)
    5. Engineering calculations
    6. Building and testing of prototypes
    7. Experimental testing and qualification testing
    8. Participation in technical discussions with clients
    9. Improving existing products

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a MSc or BSc degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Have proven experience in R&D / product development (design, engineering, prototyping, commercialization)
  • Have good communication skills and be fluent in English
  • Be talented and driven
  • Be a fast learner, able to work independently, and as part of a team
  • Be structured and systemic
