Job summary

Noroff, the School of technology and digital media, seeks a Director of Marketing to strengthen market position and drive growth in qualified applications. You will report to the CEO, join executive management, and lead a marketing team across digital channels and content production to maximize ROMI.

The role can be based in Oslo or Kristiansand with some remote work; travel between offices and group meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of marketing experience with leadership and budget responsibility.
• Recent leadership with 3 of the last 5 years in management handling budgets and measurable commercial results.
• Proven responsibility for marketing budgets with measurable outcomes (ROMI).
• Experience marketing products/services with considered decision processes (education, subscriptions, financial services).
• Hands-on experience in performance marketing, marketing automation, CRO, and content production.
• Practical experience using AI in marketing and understanding AI impact on search behavior and decision-making.
• Higher education required or extensive relevant experience.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Own the marketing budget and ensure ROI through qualified applications and efficient channels.
• Develop and implement the marketing strategy and annual plan, strengthening the Noroff brand.
• Lead marketing activities from first contact through submitted application with sales/admissions teams.
• Lead digital marketing across paid channels, SEO, social media, and AI-based platforms.
• Lead content production through internal and external teams, using AI to improve quality and efficiency.
• Be responsible for the commercial performance of noroff.no and related landing pages.
• Provide market insights to support portfolio development and new programs marketing.
• Lead and develop the marketing team with full people management responsibility.
