Help shape the future of Norway's leading cybersecurity company

Join mnemonic as our Market Intelligence Analyst and turn data into insights that help shape business decisions.

As mnemonic grows internationally and operates in an increasingly complex business environment, we need a clearer understanding of the markets we operate in and the opportunities ahead. We are therefore looking to strengthen the Business Intelligence & Strategy area of mnemonic.

This is an opportunity to develop your analytical and technical skills, work closely with management and help shape how we use data and insights to support business decisions.

The role as Market Intelligence Analyst in mnemonic

As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in how we develop and manage business and market intelligence in mnemonic. You will work closely with management on questions about mnemonic's strategic direction and be part of a team within Business Intelligence & Strategy.

You will establish and maintain data structures, systems and tools for managing information from internal and external sources for business and market analysis. The tools should enable automated analysis, as well as visualization and presentation of data and insights. Through these systems and analyses, the role will support business development, go-to-market initiatives and strategic decisions in mnemonic.

You will also help define the function's methods and processes. This is an opportunity to shape how we work, develop new analytical tools and contribute to the analysis itself.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collecting, structuring, and ensuring the quality of data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Developing and maintaining analytical models to generate business insights

Contributing to the standardisation of analytical methodologies and work processes

  • Business Intelligence (BI) and visualisation
    • Developing and maintaining dashboards, visualisations, and self-service analytical solutions
      • Self-developed or third party tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI and analytics platforms
    • Automating analysis and reporting processes, including the use of AI-assisted capabilities where appropriate
  • Analysing market data and developments, including technology trends
  • Competitor analysis and monitoring
  • Insight sharing
    • Structuring insights in Confluence, dashboards and other internal knowledge-sharing platforms
    • Presenting analyses and insights internally to stakeholders and decision-makers

This is Business Intelligence & Strategy

The Business Intelligence & Strategy function is relatively new in mnemonic. It is now evolving from a market analysis function to increasingly support the organization with data driven strategy and business development.

This will support mnemonic and its management in identifying business opportunities and assessing attractiveness and risk. The function supports management in improved resource allocation, commercial effectiveness, and stronger execution of go-to-market activities within mnemonic.

What you bring and would like to develop

We believe you will succeed in this role if you have the necessary technical knowledge and enjoy working with data and turning your findings into useful insights, applying tools for structuring, analyzing and visualizing information.

You take initiative, follow through on tasks and take satisfaction in delivering high-quality work in complex processes.

We are open to candidates at different stages of their careers, including those with limited professional experience. What matters most is your analytical ability, technical curiosity and motivation to develop your skills.

You don't need to tick every box, but you should ideally recognise yourself in some of the points below:

  • Strong Excel skills and an interest in data modelling
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python and/or R
  • Interest in using AI for analytics, automation, coding and data modelling
  • Experience with data collection and integration from various sources and APIs
  • Experience with business intelligence and dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Experience or interest in market analysis, business and commercial aspects
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, with fluent written and spoken English
  • You are comfortable working both independently and in collaboration with others
  • Educational background or knowledge in areas such as computer engineering, data science, economics, business, statistics or market intelligence
What we can offer
  • An informal and pleasant working environment that provides opportunities for growth, influence and variations in tasks
  • Competitive salary, share program and bonus scheme that promotes a long-term employment outlook, including attractive pension and insurance coverage
  • Opportunities for relevant professional training (courses) and conferences
  • We place a strong emphasis on workplace well-being and teambuilding through social activities, events and trips with colleagues. In addition, we have an inclusive environment that promotes work-life balance and accommodates to families
  • A workplace that has been ranked as one of the best in Europe for a number of years
