NOV is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Technical Support team, focusing on cranes, winches, and control/electrical systems. You will troubleshoot, test, upgrade equipment in the field, and advise customers and service personnel globally.

The role requires working on a fixed shift rotation, including night shifts, with opportunities for international travel and professional development within a dynamic offshore/maritime environment.

Formación

• Professional certification or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years in Field Service, Installation & Commissioning, Technical Support, or similar roles.
• Background in offshore or maritime industry is highly desirable.
• Proficient in PLC systems and electrical/control troubleshooting.
• Adaptable with strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert technical support for cranes and winches, emphasizing control and electrical systems.
• Assist field service teams in equipment troubleshooting, testing, and upgrades.
• Recommend equipment improvements to Engineering based on field insights.
• Identify necessary components for repairs or scheduled service in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
• Liaise with Engineering to align on solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Support remote diagnostics and on-site guidance, leveraging digital tools and platforms.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to support service operations.
