Job summary

KONGSBERG Norcontrol is seeking a System Engineer to join our Operations team in Norrköping, delivering, commissioning, and supporting maritime surveillance systems worldwide.

You will install, configure, and commission systems at customer sites, perform upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and integrate sensors and third-party systems across Sweden and international projects. You will work with customers and project teams, providing on-site maintenance and technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, CS, Electronics, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of software, hardware, and networking.
• Experience with installation, configuration, or troubleshooting of technical systems.
• Strong communication in Scandinavian languages and English.
• Valid category B driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission systems at customer sites.
• Perform system upgrades, testing, and verification activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to customers, users, and project teams.
• Work with the integration of sensors and third-party systems.
• Participate in the planning and execution of projects in Sweden and internationally.
• Perform service, maintenance, and technical support activities on-site when required.
