PALFINGER MARINE is seeking a Service Technician based in Kristiansund to install, maintain, and repair lifting and handling equipment for a global maritime customer base.

You will perform installations, diagnose faults, carry out preventive maintenance, and document inspections. Qualifications

• Completed vocational training, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical maintenance, repair, or service environments.
• Ability to read and apply equipment specifications and instructions.
• Knowledge of fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to travel 150+ days per year.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment according to specifications, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs to restore operation.
• Carry out preventive and routine maintenance to extend service life and reduce downtime.
• Perform quality and safety checks after service and repair activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers, documenting maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
