Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assemble and test precision components and equipment for onshore/offshore projects. You will develop and follow test procedures, ensure safety, quality, and compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement in assembly processes.

The role requires certified mechanics and crane/lifting certifications, with experience in rotating machinery and pressure testing.

Qualifications

Certified mechanic with relevant training or equivalent work experience.
Crane certificate is required.
Forklift, cherry picker or OLF certification is an advantage.
Flange course certification is an advantage.
Pressure testing certification is an advantage.
Experience with rotating machinery (assembly/testing) and swivel systems.
Knowledge of pressure and leak testing and high torque tools.
Knowledge of static and rotating sealing systems.
Practical, solution-oriented with good communication skills.
Accurate, detail-oriented and engaged.
Strong teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Assemble and test Vx Meters and AW.
Develop and assemble test equipment and procedures.
Follow reporting and documentation, ensure sign-offs.
Participate in HARC and toolbox talks.
Maintain clear focus on HSE during tests and assembly, including high-pressure systems and rotating machinery.
Uphold high standards of HSE and quality according to policy.
Adhere to ethical standards per company policy.
Assemble mechanical components per procedures.

Job Description

Assembly and test of Vx Meters and AW.
Assembly and technical developments of test equipment.
Reporting and procedure follow up, make sure that each step in procedures are signed accordingly.
Participate in HARC and toolbox activity as required.
Maintain a clear focus on HSE throughout tests and assembly, in particular high-pressure systems, and rotating machinery.
Establish and maintain a high focus on HSE and Quality in line with company policy in all areas of operation.
Establish and maintain a high focus on ethics in line with company policy.
Assembly of mechanical components in hence with procedures.

Qualifications

Certified mechanic or equal level obtained by work experience and training.
Crane certificate is required.
Forklift / Cherry picker / OLF certified or documented training is an advantage.
