The Manager Business Services is an advisor to the business within the cluster and supports the Director Operations in making decisions by providing them actionable insights.
Your Impact in This Role
Different functional domain areas supported by the Manager Business Services include financial analysis, human resources for the cluster staff and transactional procurement. The Manager Business Services understand the business of the cluster and knows the issues and challenges the Directors Operations and Commercial for the cluster face and contributes to the performance of the cluster by providing analysis and insights from the different functional support teams. The Manager Business Services is a true enabler for the business.
What You Bring to the Table
A cluster is a small business in a large organisation and you should have a solid background in finance management, including HR and procurement in an industrial environment (preferably mining/minerals but also construction, cement or aggregates), within a global industrial organisation. As a result, you should have the ability to thrive and operate in a complex and demanding environment.
With an agile mindset and strong communication skills, you should be able to adapt to a busy activity and be willing to support and advise the senior management in their
business decisions. This role would be ideal for someone who has worked in both a large company and a small business, where the same person has “many hats”.
Fluent Norwegian AND English is vital for this role.
