Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking a Senior Pre-Commissioning Engineer to lead subsea and pipeline pre-commissioning activities on onshore/offshore projects. You will work independently on tenders and execution, delivering high-quality engineering and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires BSc/MSc in relevant engineering, 4–5 years minimum, and capability to coordinate with internal teams and clients across Norway and Aberdeen. Offshore/on-site participation may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-commissioning or related subsea/pipeline engineering.
• Strong understanding of pre-commissioning operations and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform flooding, cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting, flushing and leak testing.
• De-watering and umbilical testing (hydraulic, electrical & fiber-optic).
• Prepare procedures, task plans, reports and method statements.
• Ensure alignment with project specs, standards and internal procedures.
• Provide technical support during onshore and offshore execution.
• Interface with disciplines, subcontractors and clients.
• Support equipment specs, mobilization, and readiness activities.
• Participate in project reviews, risk assessments and tender input.
