Job summary

UrbanLogic in Alta, Norway is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, adjust and operate presses, saws and CNC machines, monitor production, and ensure quality compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least two years' experience with industrial machinery, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work quickly and safely in a busy environment. Accommodation is provided along with visa support for all nationalities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Minimum of 2 years experience operating industrial machinery.
Knowledge of different types of machinery and their functions.
Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds if needed.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of machinery according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machines as needed.
Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.
Inspect finished products for defects or any issues that may affect quality.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them running smoothly.
Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.
Follow safety protocols at all times.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
