Job summary

VirtualWorks Hub in Svalbard seeks an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable ML solutions. You will work with data scientists and software engineers to translate business problems into models.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong Python/Java/R skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms. This contract position offers a monthly USD salary and is open to EU candidates, with no housing provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Excellent programming skills in Python, Java, or R
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation and optimization
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Svalbard As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems Your role will involve working closely with data scientists and software engineers to design build and deploy scalable solutions

• Work with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems
