Our engineering team in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled and driven Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing company As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and models This role will require strong technical skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative machine learning solutions that solve complex business problems
• Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to build robust models and algorithms
• Implement machine learning algorithms in production environments
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing machine learning models for maximum performance
• Work closely with product teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our products

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or a similar role
• Strong programming skills in Python Java or C++
• Experience with popular machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow Keras or PyTorch
• Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques such as feature engineering and normalization
• Experience working with large datasets and databases
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Understanding of deep learning techniques
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production
