Loader Operator

The Loader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, specifically loaders, to load and transport materials at various job sites. This position is based in Svalbard and offers a salary of $1000 per month, with accommodation provided. The position is open to women, and free visa and tickets will also be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate loaders to move materials such as dirt, gravel, or other construction materials
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
• Load materials onto trucks or other transportation vehicles for transport to designated areas
• Follow safety procedures and regulations while operating the equipment
• Maintain a clean work area by removing debris and keeping the equipment clean
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of the equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience operating loaders or similar heavy machinery
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for heavy machinery operation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions

Preferred Skills:

• Experience operating loaders in a construction or mining setting
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques for loaders
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
