Job description

Blue Ocean Aquatics is looking for a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor to join our team. Lifeguard Instructors would be responsible for teaching American Red Cross Lifeguard, Lifeguarding review, and Waterfront courses to a group of individuals ranging from 15 to adult.Location: Varied. Courses being taught locally and along the East Coast.Dates: Varied. Most weekends starting Memorial Day.Schedule: Weekends starting Memorial Day through Labor Day.Experience: Preference given to those who have at least 1 year of teaching experience teaching Lifeguarding courses.Pay: $18-30/hr depending upon experienceRequirements/Essential Job Role:

• At least 21 years of age
• 1+ year of Lifeguard Instructor experience
• Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor
• Experience teaching groups of up to 10 individuals
• Availability on weekends to assist with courses in NY and NJ
