Job summary

Øglænd System invites an experienced Legal Counsel to cover maternity leave for offshore energy projects and international commercial negotiations. Based in Kleppe, Norway (Haderslev, Denmark optional), you will advise on complex contracts, support NDAs, RFPs, and bid processes, and collaborate with global legal and compliance teams within the Hilti Group.

You should have 5–8 years in law, strong contracting and negotiation skills, a law degree (Master's preferred), and fluency in English.

Qualifications

Approximately 5-8 years of relevant legal experience from a law firm or international business.
Strong experience in commercial contracting and negotiations within offshore energy.
Experience with EPCs or large-scale project environments is highly advantageous.
Broad legal skill set covering commercial contracts, compliance, and transactional topics.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Provide legal and compliance support across the Region, including project sales and large contracts.
Review, draft, mark-up, and support negotiations of complex commercial and project contracts.
Advise on deal structures and support pre-contract activities (NDAs, RFPs/RFQs).
Support project execution phases, including claims management and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with global legal subject matter experts across Hilti Group.
