Glamox, an international industrial group headquartered in Oslo, is expanding its Group Legal team. We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support data protection, compliance, and corporate documentation across jurisdictions.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy, close collaboration with senior management, and the opportunity to shape legal and compliance practices within the Glamox Group, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement based in Oslo.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in law (Cand.jur. / Master i rettsvitenskap).
  • Approximately 5-7 years of relevant legal experience from a law firm and/or in-house.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of legal matters while collaborating effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex legal issues clearly and practically.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound judgement, high ethical standards, and a business-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including sales and procurement contracts, in both English and Norwegian.
  • Support and coordinate the Group’s compliance with data protection regulations, including advising internal stakeholders and handling day-to-day privacy matters.
  • Support the Group’s broader compliance activities, including implementation of policies, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain corporate documentation, including internal policies and procedures at local and Group level.
  • Support the implementation of internal regulations and governance frameworks across the Glamox Group.
  • Act as a trusted legal business partner for management and internal stakeholders across the Group.

We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Group Legal team. The team currently consists of 3 lawyers supporting business operations across multiple jurisdictions and working closely with senior management and key stakeholders throughout the Group.

This position is based in Oslo and reports to the Head of Legal. While you will be the only lawyer located in the Oslo office, you will be part of an international legal team and work closely with Legal colleagues based in Poland, as well as stakeholders across various business functions throughout the Group.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility and is particularly well suited to a proactive and business-oriented legal professional who enjoys taking ownership of matters, working independently, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Approximately 70% of your work will be conducted in English.

Who you are
Required qualifications
