At Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA), we design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge solutions for defence, space, and security worldwide. From next-generation missile systems to satellite technology, our products operate where failure is not an option.

We are strengthening our Quality team and are looking for an experienced Lead Quality Auditor to take charge of planning, executing, and following up on audits — both internally and across our international supply chain.

In this role, you will verify compliance with demanding standards such as AS9100, AS9110, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, ISO45001 and NATO’s AQAP requirements, while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and coordinate internal audits and supplier audits worldwide
  • Maintain, develop, and improve KDA’s audit program and management system
  • Train and mentor colleagues in audit methodology and quality management best practices
  • Act as a key advisor to management on quality risks and compliance matters
  • Support strategic improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and business performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry, environmental, safety, and information security standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Trained Lead Auditor (ISO9001 / AS9100) - additional standards an advantage
  • Strong experience in auditing within defence, aerospace, or similarly high-reliability industries
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, and supplier quality
  • Higher technical education (engineering or equivalent)
  • Good communications skills in Norwegian and English — both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently, analytically, and with a strong focus on risk and detail
  • Natural ability to build trust and collaboration across functions and cultures
Why Join Us
  • Influence the quality of advanced defence and aerospace technology used globally
  • Be part of an international network of highly skilled professionals
  • Opportunities for professional growth, including further auditor certifications
  • Competitive salary, excellent benefits, and flexible working arrangements
  • A supportive and inclusive workplace where your expertise makes a difference
