Job summary

COWI is expanding its data centre capabilities and seeks a Mechanical Lead to drive design and delivery of complex data centre projects. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to translate client needs into robust, future-ready mechanical solutions.

You will engage with clients, lead mechanical design, and coordinate across engineering, sustainability and advisory disciplines, on projects from concept to implementation. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering.
• Experience designing data centres or in engineering consultancy/technical advisory.
• Experience on data centre projects or other large-scale mission critical projects.
• English proficiency at a professional level.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of data centre projects, ensuring high technical quality within your discipline.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Lead and contribute to data centre projects with coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project development from early concept through design, tender and construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, architecture, sustainability and environmental advisory.
• Lead mechanical design and advisory for data centre facilities.
• Act as mechanical lead within projects, ensuring quality and coordination.
• Contribute to detailed technical dialogue with clients and stakeholders.
• Support project development from concept to detailed design.
• Contribute to innovative and sustainable data centre solutions.
