Job summary

Yinson Production in Oslo seeks a Principal Asset Performance Engineer to drive predictive maintenance, performance optimization and remote operations for eight offshore units. You will analyze equipment health, maintenance trends and production data to identify anomalies and improvement opportunities, while collaborating across Operations, Engineering and IT/OT teams.

The role emphasizes lifecycle optimization, digitalization, and real-time decision support with international travel as needed.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Process Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of asset performance and reliability experience in complex industrial environments.
Experience with offshore production facilities, rotating equipment, and maintenance optimization.
Fluent English, written and spoken; willingness to international travel.

Responsibilities

Drive predictive, condition-based, and risk-based maintenance programs.
Leverage data platforms and digital twins to generate measurable value.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, energy performance and reliability.
Support remote monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and IT/OT teams to improve operability and maintainability.
Provide periodic technical reporting.
