Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel AS in Norway is seeking a National Sea Logistics LCL Product Manager to own and grow the LCL product area, optimize pricing and cargo flows, and support sales and customer care teams in delivering logistics solutions.

You will work with national and international Trade teams, develop customer-focused solutions, and manage relationships with carriers and co-loaders, while continuously improving the LCL offering to meet evolving customer needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of LCL products, pricing, and operational processes.
• Degree qualification or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Experience leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and AI-enabled technologies to support decision-making, optimize processes, and drive business improvements.

Responsibilities

• Drive LCL business growth by supporting Sales and Key Account Managers in identifying and developing new customer opportunities.
• Regularly participate in customer and sales meetings to promote LCL solutions and expertise.
• Partner with Customer Care and Operational Care teams to ensure customer requirements are met through high-quality service delivery.
• Monitor and manage product PNL, proactively identifying and addressing discrepancies.
• Maintain and update LCL selling rates within designated pricing systems to support competitive and customized customer quotations.
• Negotiate trucking and CFS rates with service providers to optimize product yield while maintaining service quality standards.
• Develop tailor-made logistics solutions aligned with customer requirements and market opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with co-loaders and key service partners.
• Manage cargo flows and select the most efficient transportation solutions to maximize profitability and service performance.
• Deliver regular product training and knowledge-sharing sessions to colleagues involved in LCL activities.
• Support strategic initiatives and undertake additional tasks as required by management.
