Job description

We are looking for a buffet chef to join our team in the winter season 2026, starting December 15th.

The ideal candidate has experience and passion for cooking, and can relate to safe handling of food. You are creative, like to cook food that tastes good, and are good at keeping your surroundings clean and tidy. You must like to cook vegetarian food, as we serve a lot of creative and fresh vegetarian selections on our buffet.

Working hours are mainly during the evening.

Work Tasks:
  • Preparing evening buffet with various cold and warm dishes, pie, pizza, and good salads.
  • Assist during the buffet with refilling.
  • Clean the kitchen before the workday is over.
  • Maintain inventory control and be responsible for ordering goods for weekly delivery.
  • Prepare weekly menus with a good overview of allergens and food content.
Competence Requirements:
  • The joy of cooking good food.
  • Knowledge and certificate of safe food handling.
  • Long experience from a commercial kitchen.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Financial understanding of running a kitchen.
  • Experience in maintaining inventory control.
Personal Qualities:
  • Responsible.
  • Independent.
  • Works well in a team with others.
