Key areas of focus

• Driving sales of The Switch’s electric machines and power electronics, with a primary focus on DC-Hubs and single drives for marine applications
• Acting as the main contact for selected key accounts, building trust and identifying opportunities for business growth
• Collaborating with engineering, project management and service teams to deliver a superior customer experience
• Representing The Switch at customer meetings, events and industry gatherings

An ideal candidate has

• Minimum BSc in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on power electronics, automation or a related field
• Strong interest in sales and business development, combined with a solid technical foundation
• Previous experience, knowledge and a network in the marine business
• Good communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken
• Proactive and curious mindset, eager to learn and take initiative
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers

Bonus points for

• Previous work experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., sales or technical support, project engineering)
• Knowledge of the marine industry, shipbuilding or marine electrical systems
• Technical understanding of frequency converters, battery systems or rotating electric machines
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Genuine interest in marine market trends
• International work or study experience
